Clean label living has been a journey for me. It has been many years of learning and changing. Like many things in life… learning and changing.
I’m happily married to my best friend. We have an amazing relationship; and are very blessed to have each other.
We’ve never been able to have children but we’ve spendt many years enjoying other’s children. We have volunteered for after school programs to help the under privileged and we’ve taught children’s Sunday school.
Currently, I’m the Mom to a Whippet. He’s fun, spunky and has a voice which he uses when he feels he needs more attention.
Originally from a small town in Maryland.
When I lived there the population was around 250. It’s about 350-400 today. So my brother and I were safe to walk or ride bikes all around town, which we did!
I had an exceptionally great childhood. Loved by my parents who also loved each other. They created a spirit of kindness amongst their five children.
In 2000, my Dad had a dream. He decided he wanted all of his American family to meet all of his German family. So over a July 4th weekend he flew my siblings, their spouses and children, himself, my Mom and Dennis and me to Germany.
My parents are immigrants from Germany and came to America in 1952. As children during the second WW, they have experienced things people should never have to endure. And yet, they were full of love not only for us but also America.
Dennis and I got married and have lived in a few different states. NC, GA, KY, OH and FL. Most of the time our careers were in healthcare.

As you can see from the picture with beers in our hands, we drank alcohol and ate whatever we wanted whenever we wanted; then we woke!
For the past 25 years we have been very conscious of food and drink choices and for the past 8-10 years we began looking at soaps, lotions, detergents, deodorants and so on.
That’s where we are now. We’re on a journey to live clean and help others do the same, through clean label living.
