There are two distinct mindsets: Growth and fixed. People with a growth mindset are constantly trying to learn and grow to better themselves.

Those with a fixed mindset want to appear intelligent and have a fear of appearing ‘less than’. They believe that they were born with a fixed level of intelligence that level cannot be changed.

You may be asking yourself; why would Heidi choose to include quotes on her blog. Here’s why. I understand through my own personal growth how important my mindset is for my growth. For my confidence. For my overcoming.

Successful personal growth requires motivation, the desire to improve, and the willingness to make changes and not quit.

I make it a point to read positive quotes daily.

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.

get what you’ve always got.

Henry Ford

Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.

Power in Your Words

 Proverbs 12:18 NIV
The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Proverbs 18:21 NIV
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Choose Your Words Wisely

When you say something out loud enough times your words become the truth not only in your own mind but in the minds of everyone you are saying them to.

The next time you speak negative about yourself or someone else. STOP.

The next time you complain or blame. STOP

The next time you talk about your problems (lack of____ ) STOP

We attract into our lives what we speak.

Rephrase your thoughts and words into positive, life giving words.

This is a habit we have to learn. Practice, practice, practice!

“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no
one thinks of changing himself.”

Leo Tolstoy

Never, never, never give up.

Winston Churchill
